So its about time to start the project. I got all the components i need so i need some help cause i dont know much about crossovers etc...

My components are these ...

2 x JBL e130
2 x JBL k140
2 x Beyma cp 350 ( the old ones with the aluminum diaphragm, and the good ones i believe)
2 x Yahama JA 4080 (one got broken diaphragm ... i wish i could find one... they sound wonderful!)

I ll use either the beyma or the yamaha, not both.

2 x beyma cp 21 and later maybe ill buy 2 JBL 2404 tweeters

2 x DAS vintage crossovers ( very similar with the classic JBL's but 3 way
2 x acoustic lenses (ill add a piece of plywood in each of them in the back)

My thought is to add in each 4520 a jbl e130 and a k140 UNCROSSED... i love the way e130 play in my altec 816 uncrossed and some years ago in my 4530 scoops so i believe that it will work in the 4520 also and with the help of the more ''bassie'' k140 the sound will be wonderful...

for mid and highs i will use the beyma hf and tweeters with the DAS crossover that i have no idea abou the crossover points etc ...

My amp is a sound valves vta 70... a newer version of dynaco st 70 with 35 watts per channel. i want to connect all the components and the total ohm in each channel will be 8 ohm... is this possible ?

you are the JBL guys all around the world ! i want your advises for this compo ... what do u believe ? will it works?

Cool project. But the different drivers in one cabinet is not usually a good idea. But if you have the drivers then give them a try I say.

Don't those 2 drivers use the same basket?
So they can be reconed into the same driver?

I love that black and white pic. Its a little underexposed, but I don't think it would be as cool if it weren't.

How do they sound with dissimilar drivers in them? What horns are those?

You know, whit the ts parameters of the e130 and k140 being so close you might be ok. But Im just making a guess. But the drivers are very similar.

Are you firmiliar with audio mods? A guy out of england makes a retrofit kit for the rb250 tonearm. I have one on my rb250. There quite nice. Its very happy on my thorens TT.

Looks like your having fun. And those vitavox horn are very cool.

Donīt you get intereference between the two drivers in the same box going that high?

Just an idea, why not low pass filter one of the drivers (k140) at the baffle step frequency?

I have gone a few different routes with mine. Ive made some crossovers. They worked pretty good. I also used a crossover from a jbl theater cabinet. Now Im trying to got active on the low end. Im crossing over at 800hz
