Long time no see... it was a difficult time..
Seven years ago, I rebuilt the JBL S2600.
The sound is OK. But in one case I am not happy.
I think the bass cabinet has the wrong measurement.
Because the ME120HS chassis oscillate not good.
I have used 1" ( 25mm) Multiplex Wood for the Loundspeakers. (see Attached picture).
I have used 1" damping material on all sides. The tube has a lenght of 145 millimeter (5,7 inch).
The height of the bass cabinet is 468 millimeters (18,42 inches).
I have also attached a pdf file with all my measurements (CAD drawings).
Can anybody of you remeassure the bass cabinet?
Also i dont know what kind of "damping?" piece of wood is inside
the bass cabinet mounted on the "back?" side.
Lot of questions.. i hope anybody can help me.
