Gentlemen,
Could someone tell me if there is a reference or list of serial numbers and or their "codes" which one could use to determine the specific year model of a given speaker. When I say speaker, I am refering to complete systems such as L100s etc. Thank you for your help.

Thank you Rob,
I did do a search, but was hoping someone might have a "key" or a legend of sorts. Ah well.

I suppose it could be said I love JBL's in a manner of speaking, but I would never consider dating one.

No date codes on crossover components? It'd be AFTER those, of course. ;)

Also, component configurations in systems can narrow the window.

Y'all know this stuff, but some forum browsers might not know to look over in the Library archives at the product brochures and spec. sheets to establish production time frames....

Zilch,
I do/did use the Library, and I know the approximate time frame, I was just looking for something more specific, Y'awl Hear?:)
As always,
