I have a set of Altec N 1500 A crossovers. They are all original. I may want to use them with my Altec 604E project. However, I am wondering why they are so popular? I mean I saw a set going for close to $1000 or something ridiculous on ebay. Wouldn't something better have come around after 40 years, or perhaps you could just build one of these with the same specs since the schematic is out there? Looking at the internals I am not sure if they need a rebuild after all this time or not.
