Has any other forum member done any upgrading to their L212s?
As Giskard would suggest making them mirror imaged would be the first thing, along with using bypass caps.
For years I had the originals toed in. But since I built the mirror imaged boxes a few months ago I've been playing around with their placement.
I find that have them facing straight forward, in line with each other produces a great soundstage in stereo. With the distance between center of drivers to drivers being 7'6" in a room that is 17'6" wide and the baffles 39" out from the front wall. With a sub1500 in each of the front corners.
All of the other five L212s(center and 4 surrounds) are original with their drivers aligned in the center of the baffle.
