Hello to all,

I recently obtained some Oxmoor equalizers that are programmed via the PA-422 protocol.
The Pa-422 interface is very hard to find.
I know Altec did use a similar PA-422 interface.
Does someone have one for sale or a schematic of it to build one?
Normal Rs-422 interfaces do not work
Many thanks in advance

We have CNC plasma torches that use RS-422, and they mention that an RS-232 to RS-422 modem is available for extended runs to a remote computer, so it's at least close to RS-232 as far as functionality. A cable conversion Here (http://www.aviom.com/library/technical-resources/74_rs-232-rs-422-pinout-information.pdf) Some tech stuff Here (http://whitefiles.org/b1_s/1_free_guides/fg1mt/pgs/h10a.htm) and a search for RS-422 to RS-232 modems turns up a few hits.

That second link looks like it defines it pretty well.
