L50 surround repair

The surrounds on my L50's are attached to the back of the cones. My local JBL authorized service center will only apply them to the front of the cones (Go Figure!!):blink:. Does it really make a difference??

Get it done right.

They should be attached the same way as the originals were to maintain position.

Its a lazy approach to not clean the rear of the cones properly and redo it the same way.

Heck - I've done it the right way myself a number of times.
Its a bit mess, a bit time consuming to do it right but its not really hard.

Your local service center sounds like bozos.
