wanted to know what you guys thought of putting a TAD 1601B in a ported box below the A7's shown in these pictures:

two stacks like this with 2441 on a 2390 lens and 2405 tweetrs:

another two with bigger 2395 horns
and I'd be relocating these subs that's under one of 'em:
56200

a photoshopped pic that shows all 4 main stacks - but looks a bit odd 'cos it's bent round in a panoramic view

and one of the monitor stacks, might squeeze a TAD cabinet in here too, maybe lose a sub

am thinking of building these:

if i need to alter the dimensions of this sub can i do so by an inch as long as i keep the internal volume the same?
if i can't do that way then i can make the box bigger but add a sheet of ply to one of the interior surfaces to compensate?

thanks for any help

btw the A7's have Altec 515 8GHP in them at the moment, i was gonna swap em for TAD1601B's... but I did try and I just can't lose that upper bass detail in the original drivers, which is a shame as the lower bass on the TAD1601's in the A7' is smooth and STRONG, if only I could have my cake and eat it.

thanks
tom

PS - this is kind of like a big room in a house crossed with a really small night club.

jbl bullet tweeters in the centre of the room

nice floor... definitely the highest quality finish on any bit of woodwork in the room!

Or, maybe maybe I could build these... if there were some designs for the TAD loaded cabinet as shown in this picture:

which can be checked out on this nice page:
