JBL 2225H, 2235H cone manufacturers

Anyone fimilar with the cone manufactutrers during the life of the above 15" woofers? I bought both of the above pair new. The 2225H in September 1985 and the 2235H in July 2008. The cones look different. The 2225H has a redish hue while the 2235 is black.

I don't really understand your question. Unless you are highlighting the fact that cones made a quarter of a century apart don't look exactly the same.

Lee,Just asking who made what cone when on the above models. I'm not surprised that there is a visual difference after 25 years as JBL contracted different vendors over the years.What manufacturer is considered 'best'?
