I need some suggestions. I have been toying with an idea to have different compression driver horn and slot combinations on panels I can change out where my 2344A horn is now. I would like to just rotate out drivers combinations. I have 2416's as my 1" driver now but the 4345/4344B networks are for 16 ohm drivers??? If you look at the 4345 the trim pots are all listed as 8 ohms. Is the schematic OK as is for an 8 ohm compression driver???

Any help with the network value changes if needed will certainly be appreciated. The plan it to use a 2307/H94 lense and 2405 slot combo, then a 2342 and slot combo and the straight up 2344. Which ever I like the best is the keeper. All should easilly fit where the 2344 is now. Well I hope!!

Thanks Rob:)

Yeah but pull the 20 ohm resistor out of the 3145 HF filter and adjust the L-Pad accordingly. You could also leave the 20 ohm there and put a 2.7, 3.0 or 3.3 ohm series resistor in front of it. I'd probably do the later as I've always felt those 2307's needed more padding in a home environment.

Thanks Rob!!

Now I just have to actually start something for a change. :p
Being idle is not good just gives more time to think of things to try. I still have my parts waiting for me to do the carge coupled 4435 comp!

I'm anxious to hear what you think about charge coupling. I just finished my final evaluation today and I am extremely pleased.

I will charge couple my L212 networks next and give them a new lease on life. I can't wait to see how the LE5-9 and 066 respond.

The final combination of capacitors I've settled on are the Dayton metallized polypropylene mains and the AudioCap film and foil bypasses. The Dayton film and foil bypasses proved too "forward" and "bright" for my tastes.
