The ad-link is currently showing a Technics Turntable ... pretty wood plinth, but not an Array system.

Just because someone lists an item on eBay and calls it "brand new" does not mean it really is. Jes sayin.....

ha ha ha - yep, sneaky trick these marketeers pull!
There is a guy on the DC Craigslist that has started doing the same thing ...
title sez: blah de dah brand speaker - $95 (Woodbridge, VA)
Add says: 2 lahlah TF 350 speakers - $95 each
(The crazy things sell for $100 pair or less most anywhere, its an older low end model - but he keeps dreamin')

thanks I didn't see that. guess I wasn't the only one frantically booting my PC to hit BIN before someone else. I was fully prepared to take the "ask forgiveness later rather than ask permission now" approach with the wife.....

I'm the high bidder on that Technics rig. Anyway, I called and "John" is willing to deal on those Arrays. Not really a great price but he swears they're brand new. He will basically eat the tax for CA residents. I thought is was $4,500/pair when I first saw it too. Very cheesy marketing.
