Another L220 questions

I will this wekeend be checking out a pair of L220 speakers and is wondering what is the most important thing to be looking for and what price range is normal for a pair of these. By judging of the picture it looked good but will examine properly at place. The asking price from the seller is 1500 euros.

1. Do I need to worry about crossover updates?

2. In what year was the L220 stopped manufactured?

3. Do I have to worry about woffer replacement kit.

Give me all of your input so I am ready for all the questions for the seller.:D

I usually go see them , most have bad surrounds and owner doesn't care to fix.
we hook up power/signal and I lay them on their backs ..facing straight up

give them a try at low gain ...the "on their backs" thing keeps woofers centered pretty
much even if there is only minimal surrounds ...put you ear right up to each and every driver
and make your best assessment , and offer.
