I am about half way through with a "Al-Corn" project and need some advice on compression drivers. The "Al-Corn" consists of a Klipsch Cornwall bottom end (Crites cast frame 1526 woofer) and a Altec top end consisting of a Great Plains Audio 902 ferrite, or a 802 AlNiCo driver with a 811b horn. The crossover is the 2 way ALK Engineering ES700.... Do I go with the 16 or 8 ohm? Do I go with the Ferrite or AlNiCo. What are the strengths/weakness of each? Thank you in advance for any help on this matter.
