Hello...how hard would it be to upgrade a set of L250's to 250Ti specs???
I know the high frequency 044-1 driver is upgraded to titanium(044Ti), and I think the mid-range driver was also changed, but are there any changes needed to the crosswork network??
Anything else I need to know?? Did they or do they make a kit for this??
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance! Geno

JBL did at one time sell a complete kit, but they are all vanished.
Yes, it does include a different mid driver (104H) and a different crossover board.

I have been trying to find a pair of N250Ti crossovers for years with no success. It would require a good bit of skill, effort and time to rebuild the N250 crossovers, but that may be your best bet unless a miracle happens.

congrats :D , I have a pair too

listen at least a couple of days before you form an opinion ....THEY DON'T HAVE THE STANDARD JBL SOUND ...dont be disappointed at first.

they are NOT punchy or forward ...rather smooth , but will perform when its called for. On much source material, they are merely GOOD ....on the right source, they are GREAT.

they DO like lots of power and will ramp up louder than I can handle, and may expose deficiencies in the audio chain leading to the speaker wires.

take pix and let us know of your progress .... there are lots of threads on the forum.

DO NOT slide them across a carpeted surface or the veneer problems will get worse ... I started a thread where many good suggestions for OEM feet replacement were offered.
