ok i saw Don:s thread "mini-may" and felt like doing a pair of old cabinets i have a favour. they are loaded with some crappy old philips drivers. 10" woofer, 8"mid, and a tweeter. thought i might make some nice speakers of them. i have a lot of drivers lying around but all exept two are non jbl (2421A). and i wanna use JBL:s of course. any suggestions?

cabs inner volume are: 9" deep, 16" wide, 27" high.

the picture dont make justice to them. they are ecxeptionaly nice! the grille clothe will go as well, maybe for some JBL ala 44xx dark blue! and they would look like mini 4343 :)

the philips woofer is a strange one: no surround whatsoever, the cone runs in a cylinder :screwy:

any ideas what to do would be apreciated!

Looks like a good candidate for a bass, mid-bass and a big horn. :)

yepp! i think horn will do fine up there! if it would fit....

my first idea was 2way 10"/horn. and plugg up that 8" hole..but im open to suggestions

the cabs are very well made. and the finish is awesome!
