Fishing for opinions, what about adding a pair of 2402 bullets and 3105 crossovers to my 4331bs?

Aren't you getting enough sizzle with the 2405 slots?

 4331b has no UHF driver, stock. Or am I missing something? 2231H and 2420 on 2312 horn. Sounds like he's looking to upgrade into a 4333b, sort of.

Duh - I was obviously up too late! Sorry Badfish!

I was thinking it was like the 4340 and 4341s - but its not!

Thanks Phil! http://www (http://www).jblpro.com/pub/obsolete/4331b_4333b.pdf (http://www.jblpro.com/pub/obsolete/4331b_4333b.pdf)

If not, I'd go with 2405s and build my own networks. You can easily copy the 3106 network or better yet there are published 4333 networks and improved CC'd versions all published on this forum.

Yes, I have the components, I could even borrow the 077s from my L65s,but I was thinking of A/B comparison with my 4333A monitors so the bullets would give me something a little different! No permanent changes or modifications, I promise!! Thanks!

My friend tried adding an 075 (consumer version of 2402) to an S7 back in the 60s. I heard the before and after. Problem is an 075 doesn't add much extension over the LE85 (like the 2420). It was necessary in the S8, because the 375 was missing the upper octave. I firmly agree with what has already been stated. The 2405 has something to offer over what you have. The 2402 does not.

Thanks Cohearent, that's the kind of tip I'm looking for! I'll probably try anyway-it's research..
