easier said than done....obviously.

it is on this library

i think i gotta get me some glases (or change the screen to 640X480) :)

just curious how this 10" would do as a LF driver in a 1,5-2 cu feet box.

Tools/Internet Options/Advanced and scroll down to the "multimedia" section and de-select "Enable automatic image resizing" (see image). That should leave the images LARGE if you prefer that.

As well, often, if you click on the re-sized image, then click on the white area outside, if you move your cursor back on-top of the image, a "resizing button" should appear lower-right corner. Click that and be amazed...

Maybe you already know all this, and I just feel a need to type... ;)

Bo: i see ur using 98/ME. nice!

i checked this out and my settings were already like yours.

ok so this setting makes the images large from the start. i find it anoying when they suddenly gets small as soon as theyr downloaded

thanks iŽll fiddle with this and see what i like best.

You ignore JBL's recommendation that they not be used in open-back cabinets and install them in Fender Princeton Chorus for killer vintage JBL sound and concomitant heavy lifting.

K110's or, preferrably, D110F's (if you can find them,) are the pfat retro mod of choice, tho....

well i havnt seen the damn info yet:)

Edit: ok i got the info! its located Here (http://www.jblpro.com/pages/pub/components/eseries.pdf). and though its the worlds most effective 10" it probably wont fit my little project. i need a 10" LF for a 1-2 cu feet cabinet. HF i havnt decided yet eather...just have 2 cabinets with a nice look lying around and i thought iŽd make some fine speakers out of em....

A forum vintage favorite in that size seems to be LE10A. That might work for you.

Alternatively, L-series drivers, maybe. 12X, etc. Others are gonna have to help you with those, tho.

Finally, in small cabinets like that, you can't go wrong with LE8T, as long as you're not committed to rockin' the place with them. I have a ratty little pair of AR4X I slapped a pair in, which really sound sweet. Been meaning to swap out the tweeters for LE20-1's to complete the conversion, as well.

E110 is more suited as a musical instrument or reinforcement driver, in my experience.

i dont know the exact size of the cabs yet. but a quick eye says its about size of a of a L-110. i know LE-10:s would makem sing but i dont want to go through hell and back to do it. its not exactly crawling with LE10:s on this side of the map. on the other hand theres no hurry so i can hold on til some le10:s show up.

i saw Donc:s thread "mini-may" and felt like doing those old cabs a favour!

im not gonna rock the house with em, for that i have the 4430:s.

How 'bout the 125A or 127A. Are you looking for huge power handling? I haven't scored a pair yet for my L36's but everyone seems to like them. They seem real plentiful on ebay, though most need a refoam.

Blessings, Terry
