Power to my 5749

I recently picked up a 5749. I have a QSC 4050HD to power it. Is it ok to parallel
wire the the two speakers and bridge the amp for 4000wpc @ 4 ohms?

First I admit I am not familiar with either the speakers or the amp, but why not run a single channel of the amp to each speaker? On paper you are only talking a few dB difference, and in real life it is bound to be a better load for the amp and might ultimately be just as loud and allow the amp a longer life... not to mention there is no way those woofers can actually dissipate 2000w each if the amp even really delivers it.
