Hi to all, looking to buy some Mac amps for my systems, currently have a Mac 2102 for top end on the 4350's and looking at mc352 for bottom end. Had bought some mc 501 for my everest on Audiogon, but have been scammed and am awaiting insurance via PayPal. I have been doing some research and it seems some people believe that the mcintosh mc402 is more musical ? Has anyone done a A/B comparison, would appreciate some feedback,

Regards Joe.

The only McIntosh amp I have heard on my JBL S2600 is a MC402 & I think the match is great. Good luck!

I have great success with pass labs amps on the everests. The Aleph 3 is very musical but the 5 has a bit more guts. both are great. Go class A and you will never consider anything else..

joseWhereas a Ferrari is better than a Mustang in raw driving performance and most would say styling as well, he wants to know which Ford will best suit his speakers. ;)

I'd say it's more like a Lincoln 460 vs. Lotus Elan.

What amp would be a Studebaker delivery van?
