Has anybody completed a binding post replacement on L300. It looks fairly straight forward, but I would appreciate any tips and help. As you might of guessed, I am not the most technical person.

Thanks for your help.

Replaced mine with Parts Express http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=260-302&FTR=260-302 They come attached to a plate....unbolt them from the plate and just bolt them on after removing the stock JBL binding post. There is no modifications needed...it couldn't be more simple. You need to remove the woofer of course!

Tom

Assuming the L300 has them recessed in the back, just be sure that what you get doesn't stick out past the rear panel. If it does, you won't be able to lay the speakers on their backs. With most JBLs that space is 3/4" depending on the thickness of the MDF used.

Some binding posts are much taller than that. I've used these Daytons on several vintage speakers with good results:

You may need to "adjust" the size of the mounting holes or find a different post that fits your holes. The Daytons are a tad larger than the usual JBL holes.
