Hi,

I've got a couple of SUNN cabinets with JBL's. I thought the horn drivers were 175's, but are actually LE100S's. I looked at JBL's vintage site, and thru the catalogs/etc. here but couldn't find anything about this model.

Does anyone have the straight skinny? I'd like to know differences between these, and 175's or LE85's. Is this model scarce in comparison?

Also wondering about the "S". The woofers are 130AS, and the crossovers are N1200S. Was the "S" just a designation denoting SUNN installation, or perhaps 'Special Order', or does it mean something else?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Mike

The LE100S is the (S) SUNN variant made for that company.

The diaphram material is phenolic but the voice coil material is *copper* not aluminum as in the 2461. The original number for this driver is the 2460 - way back in the 60's it was also known as the 175HP
