recently i got hold of the 2 crossovers network for the purpose of bi-amping my 4333.

i managed to get the frequency cards (52-5123; 800hz) too.

i would need some advise on which crossovers will work better on the 4333
- 5234A
- JBL/ Urei 5235
any difference in performance when compared between both crossovers?

much thanks in advance

I believe there is no functional difference between those two models of the crossover.

With the 4333a's rear panel switch in the biamp position the high pass and compensation for the horn/tweeter is still in the circuit as is the zobel for the woofer. Therefore, all you need is an 800 Hz 12 dB low pass in the electronic crossover. You could achieve that by installing the 800 dB card and just using the low pass output to a power amp for the woofer and connecting the treble input of the speaker directly to another amp that is fed directly from the preamp. As you are probably aware the benefit of doing this is to be able to choose optimized amps for the upper and lower frequency ranges and to be able to connect the woofer to its amp with no inline inductor.
