2391 horn for 2420

I have a 2391 horn with 2420 driver on a 4 way system listening 4.5 meters .
Should a different horn ( new shape or wood made ) would change the sound i find a little bit agressive under 6 meters .

i´ll say it before widget:) say how old are the 2420 diaphragms?
if they´r old and tired u might consider new ones...

the diaphragm are more 20 years .
waht can happen in sound restitution ?

i believe: harsh and agressive sound.....

there are numerous members here who had this experience...and can confirm this.

i also have similar problem with my 4430:s and are looking to change the diaphragms.
