I hate to ask a possibly Dumb question,
But my Internet searches have not revealed any info.

Can anyone tell me the difference or reasons
Behind the different 4311 models!
A, B, WX-A?

Thanks

Cliff notes; early 4311 has the very desirable alnico magnets on the woofers.

This thread covers most of it.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for!
Was there ever a 4311 WX-b produced?
Or did they drop the WX at B level?

And what revision if any are most "desirable"?

Thanks

What's more desirable is a question only the listener can answer. From the standpoint of collectibilty (Is that a word?) the A version being Alnico would be more desirable. I could never tell the difference in sound myself. So if your hunting the 4311 WXA would be the more valuable, but not by much and no discernible diiference to my ears.
