I have a pair of K120 drivers, but need some mid-bass for "reproduction" (not production) use. Has any experience of reckoning K120 with 2202H (8-ohms) re-cone kit, or any suggestion ??

The K120 and 2202H frames are dimensionally identical.
So...no problem reconing with 2202H kit.

Is the K120 a 1.2t motor or is it only the E120?

K120 and 2202H are 1.2T motors. The E120 is a 1.35T motor. The E-Series is unique in it's gap flux due to the larger ceramic magnet compared to the 2200H/J ceramic series.
The 2202H could conversely be reconed with an E120 kit to get more of a K120 response...a bit less midrange.

Argh, that's what I meant, 1.35t, but you answered my question :)

I bought some very nice 2202H's some time ago when I was assembling the ingredients for a pair of 4355's. They are available. If you are interested, send me a PM.
