It's a DIY Paragon knock-off.

Looks like a Metregon with a 201 driver load - 130a's, 175's, H5040 horns. It's worth $2k barely if the cabinet is wrecked (for parts). If it's clean, probably closer to $3k, restored, maybe $3.8k. I'd say it's a steal if the pictures are honest. Let us know how it looks in your Living Room :)

ITS A METRAGON STYLE NOCKOFF,,,VALUE OF CABINET,,$500, SPEAKERS MAYBE $1,000..The pie in the sky prices are wishfull thinking..BUT THEY MIGHT GET LUCKY AND STRIKE RICH IF A UNSUSPECTING BUYER COMES ALONG..

Where did Grumpy's post go? Picture looks good, but the text, which I didn't read, seems to betray its authenticity, as Pecan was never offered by JBL, though maybe you could have one made. The seller also calls it a "Custom" cabinet, and says the front panel is curved by hand - I don't know if that means he did it personally, or he's just hyping what he's got to sell, which he doesn't seem to know anything about. The front curved panel looks like the grain goes horizontally, where the factory did them vertical, though the picture is poor, and the grain so light that I could be reading things that aren't there. Also, the panel that the crossover is mounted to is not painted black, though some one will chime in and say they weren't all painted, or something else. I'm going to change my opinion to tentative knock-off, but I would go and take a look at it if I were you. Without better photos, I've said all I can say.

Apparently "scott" is either reading this forum, or received many questions...
as the advert continues to morph with more detailed info being added.
