are compatible withe those on L20t or L80t ?
If they aren't, where can I find compatible ones ?

Since the original pegs are molded with the grille, it is difficult to replace them. There is not enough surface area in the frames to fasten the new pegs to. I'd just use some adhesive backed velcro to hold the frames in place.

Hi Don,

The grill pegs are not molded with the grilles, neither on my L20t nor on my L80t because those grilles are made of wood :crying:

Then they are aftermarket or something I've never seen. All LxxT grille frames were plastic.

Ah - then they are not the stock "molded plastic" grills with glued on cloth.

Hi Brutal,

In France, all Lxxt grille frames I have seen are made of wood, not of plastic !
It's my second pair of L80t and many, many years ago I also had a L100t with a wooden grill frame. Both my L20t and L80t grille frames seem to be guenuine.
And grille pegs seem to be exactly the same on L20t and L80t.

Here is a pic of a L20t grille peg ( sorry for the bad quality because I used my phone ).

Hi HJames,

So, if I understand what you all are saying, in USA you had molded plastic grill frames on Lxxt series ? Or is it on the latests Lxxt3 series ? My ones are early series not t3.

Exactly Right - I have had L20T, as well as 3 pairs of L20T3 (recently sold), as well as L60T (2pr - long gone) and L100T (2 different pair)

All have the same kind of plastic fantastic one piece grill assemblies - they are VERY easily broken
... see L20T at top - next is L100T both same style grill assembly

I love this forum!

Here I thought I knew a little bit about the LXXT family, as I bought a pair of L60T new, and have now accumulated 2 pair of L80T, a pair of L20T, and the L100T set I listen to every day.

But today, courtesy of LH, I discovered there was an "L100TBQ" (black finish), a "GI" model, and that European models of this line had wooden grills!

This is interesting, because a member kindly sent me the JBL brochure, and it lists the four models, with the usual finish. Nothing unusual.

Be nice if someone like Titanium Dome would do a thread on this line, explaining all the various models and their features, including rarities like the L40T3 and L100S.

I suggested this a while back, but no one responded.
