Hey there.

Where is the best place to buy new gasket for the passive PR15D
I already found on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310255485021&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
but i do not know the quality of them.

Can you recommend a place to buy gasket for JBL PR15D

I've been eying the 18" versions for awhile. The feedback looks good and the price seems reasonable.

If you can actually buy it somewhere, why not. But it seems to me Zilch said he used to use thin foam gasket tape, basically weatherstrip from Home despot and made his own gaskets when a cabinet didn't already have them and JBL didn't sell them.

yeah - here is the quote:

The other issue is getting an adequate seal to the driver at the rear of the back can. JBL doesn't list a gasket for that, even, so, assuming it's supposed to be tightly sealed, I used foam gasket tape. The front of the can seals to the driver with the traditional "Noodle."

I already bought them on eBay, but it will take a week or 2 before they arrive (To Denmark)
Maybe i dont even use the new gasket, only if they are VERY near to the originals.
In the mean time i will finish refoam my speakers, i also some veneer repair work to do.
