Very impressive and clever integration :jawdrop:

What horn is it, eighteen sound?
Are the 1601 and 4001 time aligned?
What are your crossover frequencies and slopes?

Could not you integrate the horn directly in the BR part of the 4560 (lower part of the upper 4560, upper part of the lower 4560) to push them closer together and have a better MTM coherency?

Hi pos

Thanks

I was afraid this application but sound is coherent.
I used XTA crossover 18db 687hz Butterworth ,0.44ms delay for bass.
Brook 2a3 for high and Carver Silver 7 for bass
Horns are Iwata

For fun, try driving the woofers with solid state sometime. How is the low bass?

Very slick! Are those modified JBL cabs or custom built? Nice!

I wait when my solid state from service will return I will make test.
Low bass is Ok but more deep was in my Westlake HR1 but not clean and quick as5143751438 Tad

Very, very nice... I love the juxtaposition between paint and veneer.

I imagine a subwoofer would be a welcomed addition.

almost like some of the more tasteful oriental lacquered furniture... (imho)

for the relatively brief time I had a pair of 4650 cabs in my listening
space, the impact was so overwhelming I didn't really miss truly deep
bass (below 200Hz, I did EQ it up a bit). Hard for me to imagine what they
would sound like stacked and in a smaller (presumably) space...

That finish almost makes me reconsider their place-ability in a semi-normal
living space :)

Looking really good!

I guess they can give you a brutal awakening with just a little touch on the volume.

thanks for all answers.

I look for interesting scheme passive crossovers for Tad, does somebody have clone Tad tn-1 or Rey audio rx-1

Hi there,
I am just wondering how you accomplished the veneering. Did you have to completely disassemble the horns, or did you just somehow figure out the cuts to make? I would love to refinish my 4560's like this because they are currently looking rather...road-travelled :)

Lets see some more photos of your speakers:bouncy:

Very unique and well done, do you have any closeup or side views you can share?

Bravo, on your build.
