Greetings! This is my first post here.

My recently acquired L110s have all damaged dust caps and tweeter diaphragms. I've heard that the tweeters need to be re-assembled with an audio oscillator (or a signal generator?), but that a tone signal would do.

Could someone please explain how to do this, preferably with a tone signal? I've been scouring the net to no avail on this.

Also - It's OK to spray paint the diaphragm a matching black color, right?

Thanks for the help - I'm looking forward to getting these bad boys singing again.

The diaphragm is mounted to a plastic plate which in turn is stuck lightly with a bostick type adhesive to the top plate of the magnet. The goo is visible in the pic. You need to pry off the diaphragm plate to get in there.
