K130 surround repair advice

Folks, I've got a K130 on the way via Ebay, it appears the surround has a 4mm long tear in it. I plan on repairing the tear with some DAP Weldwood contact cement. A while ago Ted Weber advised that the weldwood cement is good for doping speakers. Any opinions or warnings ahead of time?

Parts Express sells a replacement cloth surround kit for the 2225 that I have used to repair several 2225 speakers so far for a local club. Maybe they would fit the bill if needed?
