It’s been a long time coming, and complete enough to post the photo I promised long ago. A specific thank you goes out to that Ohio guy for all the cone/horn/crossover work - along with Earl K, DRG, John Nebel, Boputnam, Robh3606 and Mikebake. Zilch and Scotty too…RIP. The invite for the guys who may want to have a listen is up. It's been so long here's some background: http://www.audioheritage.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?3049-4435-4430-4425-in-Control-Room-help-please! and here: http://www.audioheritage.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?15673-4435s-for-1-500.00&p=161891&highlight=#post161891

The real biggie for me is achieving the no EQ, do-it-with-the-room thing. One thing for sure is it doesn’t come cheap and doesn’t come in a box. Thanks again.

Beautiful! :applaud:
I can see right away it didn't come cheap :bouncy:
If some day you can provide us with the technical details, it would be interesting!

Nice job. How did you end up running the 4435's? Any mods?
For mine I prefer passive over bi-amp. I've recapped the crossovers, and changed the high pass circuit to charge coupled.

How much did you pay for those special room-tuning plants?
Kidding. The room looks great. :) Congratulations!

Passive. I don't remember what the network mods were - just asked that they be 'right'. Perhaps he could elaborate, but it was a while ago. Superb workmanship.
Not bridging the K1's anymore, absolute overkill. Nominal output from the console drives the room to earsplit without any fuss.

Just goes to show ya: " too much of everything is just enough" as Bob Weir would say!! Most excellent as I would say. Congrats and enjoy.

That's a huge question. I'm afraid that you will need to be a bit more specific - acoustical or audio details?
