I am looking for a good source for a re-cone kit. It's for my LE15A woofer. Any suggestions would be a big help. Thanks.:)

Here's a copy of Mr. Widgets response to a similiar thread.......Mine or ordered (February) Stlill waiting. I tried the 2235 route (8 ohm) but it's just not the same. I would consider it a last resort. I had my LE15s refoamed and swapping out the 2235s with the refoamed LE15A's was so different. The LE15A's were shoulders above in sound.

You want this kit as listed in the Oct 2010 JBL price list: C16R2215 $260.00 150-H (very old), 2215, 2215B

I had my two 1972 LE15A's redone by Deltronics in Chicago with C8R2215H's in 2009 for $520 total. After break-in they sound great.

Like I said the Coner ordered in February and order was accepted but still no cone kits. :crying:

I think they used to wait until they had 25 orders before producing a batch. If I remember, my LE15A's took about 5 months (this was about 5yrs ago).
