Wow, 200 posts, cool,;)

I'm looking at replacing my current proceed AMP2 to drive my 4344, looking for even more transparence and dynamics. I have an opportunity to purchase a Mark Levinson 334 and wonder about this choice. Some other amps that I have in my short list would be a 'lower end' Mcintosh like a 352 - would anyone over here have experience of both amps and be willing to give me an opinion considering the fit with the 4344 - how different could the sonic aesthetics be between the two types of amps?

Thanks,

IMO you want to look for 2 amps and an active crossover and bi amp the 4344's. With my 44's I used a Crown K1 on the bottom and a McIntosh 2125 on the top, Ashly 1001 crossover. Much more dynamic than a single amp, and I bought all 3 for about $1000 6-7 years ago. Something to think about.

Finding a replacement amp for the Proceed would probably be easier if you did a little investigation. I've got a small integrated that's rated at 150W RMS, actually they rate it in voltage 38 RMS 138 Peak. I measured the rails and decided the upgrade would prohibitively expensive.
