I noticed one of my 2430s was sounding a bit unhappy, and when I dismantled it, found flakes of the silvery material used to plate the magnet in the gap. Any attempt to tweez out the flakes and they turn to dust. Double sided sticky tape doesn't work. Any ideas how to get this crap out of the gap ?.
Cheers
Mike

Cardboard digger.
A piece of thin cardboard like a presentation card, with masking tape around it (sticky side out).
This should take any crap out of the gap. Change the tape and the card after each pass until it comes out clean.
