I currently have an extremely nice pair of JBL L112's mint in all ways. They sound flawless but was wondering if anyone might have any thought on whether or not I should recap them? I'm the 3rd owner of these and the only thing they needed and have had done was to refoam:bouncy: the woofers.
Also after reading the schematic I noticed that they used a .o1uf to bypass with. well right under the schematic there is a note that says (performance improvement) use a .068uf cap. Has anyone tried this and if so what results did you get? Please let me know what you guys think even though they sound fantastic I'm wondering if they will benefit from a recap. I'm not looking to change them just give them a refresh.

I think you got that backwards? I read it as they used to go with .068, now using .01

Or maybe i got it backwards?
