hi i just purchase a pair of L 55 and im looking at a pair of l50 are these good jbls i paid 150 for the l55 and the l50 are also 150 what you think ?:(

L150's?? Yes they are which version 150 or 150A?? Did you listen too them?? L112's on steroids;)

sorry i meant L55 and L50 geez i wish they were the one you were talking about though L15o whould be real nice

The L55 has a 14 inch woofer which is one of my favorites. But it is only a two way system, with that woofer crossed over to a two inch tweeter. I have not actually heard the system myself, but I would not expect the smoothest midrange response from them. They might make a good starting point for a project though. I guess that if I had them I would try to convert them to a three way system.

Well the L50's aren't bad give them a listen. JBL's lowest priced 3 way at that time. Figure an updated L36 Decade with a 127 woofer and an LE26 tweeter. Midrange and top end may sound better than the L50's

are they worth having for 300 for both pairs though
