Happy birthday, JeffW! Despite your temporary bad luck, you're amply rewarded for living 50 years with a nice pair of JBL K2s. They'll likely last as long as you do.

Enjoy!

Thanks!

Only 50? Feels like 90 'cause I party like I'm 20.

And I didn't get K2s, just a busted driver :applaud:

Happy birthday there friend!

No such luck, I've been painting until dark every evening after work - provided the wind is below 40 or so. Supposed to be nice this evening. :)

Well, it beats the alternative!

I'll be 60 next month, and I've often said that the 50s were the best decade of my life. For that matter, 57, 58, and 59 have been the best three years, so I hope that indicates an upward trajectory into the 60s.

A lot of it is lifestyle, which I changed a few years back: better eating, regular exercise, lost 70 pounds, more sex, better attitude, and doing what I want now while I can.

I had a heart attack at 49, so going into the 50s could have been a downer, but I just thought eff it, I need to refocus and repurpose my life. If I do, it's gonna be great, and it was.

Cheers Doug,

very similar 49th year- all kinds of medical issues to incorporate into a new start. I've been off work ill for all most 2 years and seems it will be another 12 months before I stand a chance of any full time employment.

Good attitude , warm heart and MORE SEX ! Just hoping that titanium works better for pelvic excursion than acoustic reproduction...

Maybe I should have had Be hips and not Ti, a bit more detail could be quit spicy with right audience ...

Great sentiments! Frankly, I don't think 60 is what 60 used to be anymore!
I'm just hitting that 3 year arc myself, dropped a lot of the more risky behaviours
years ago - but more sensible food and more exercise look to be on my radar for this year!

Thanks for the tips, Doug!

Funny you would say that, JeffW has a dog that I'm pretty sure is older than he is.
