Hello Carlos,

You are right. It works.
I use the same with my 2205A, 2441 and 2405H.
Measured frequency response and all is ok.
If you youse the other way, you may have a hole
at crossover points.

Hi Eckhard,

I want to share your experience, I want to know what crossover you have used to connect them? Anyway, the polarity of 2405 doesn't seem the same as 2405H, is that true?

The only difference between the 2405 and the 2405H should be the ferrite magnet in the "H". Polarity is negative, for both.

That is, unless it's been worked-on and the diaphragm misconnected.

Hi Carlos,

I use the 3182 800 Hz crossover where i add an
33 uF cap parallel to the second low output
( works only with the 2205A i think).
Crossover to mid is about 700 Hz.
The 2441 goes +- 2-3 dB flat to his end about 8000 Hz.
There is no network to cut him off in this region.
Crossover to the 2405H is also 8000 Hz.
I use an 3106 8 KHz crossover where i add
a 0,12 mH coil parallel to the high frequency output.
Measured -3 dB point for the 2405H is near 7000 Hz now.
Without this added components networks will not work
good with this speakers.
3182 is for 16 Ohm bass driver (the 2205A is 8 Ohm)
and crossover of 3106 is to low (6000 Hz).
The 2441 and 2405H are connected in reverse to the 2205A).
Hope you understand all.

Hi Eckhard,

Does your input of 3106 connect to the HF of the 3182? The horn connects to the LF of the 3106 and the 2405H to the HF of the 3106. Is this correct ?

Hello Carlos,

No, that`s not.
The 3106 is connected to the amp, not !! to the HF out
of the 3182.
The 2441 is connected to the HF out of the 3182 and
not !! to the LF out of the 3106.
So there is no network in the high range of the 2441
and it rolls of by itself (sounds better).
The 2405 is of course connected to the HF out of the

I think the 3106 SHOULD be connected to the HF of the 3182, if You want the 2441 to roll off by itself, connect it too to the HF of the 3182, and connect a 16 ohm 20 watt resistor to the LF of the 3106, and the 2405 to the HF, all the former is not "correct", but it will work.

Thanks Alex,

But what is the difference ??
I tried the "normal" connection and others.
That has no effect on response of the 3106.
All measured at hearing position and close to driver.
