View Full Version : JBL 4350 vs Tannoy Canterbury SE ... where are my $$ safest ?

As some of you may know, I've been trying to sell my 4350's here in Oz for a while, since taking delivery of the amazing 1400 Arrays'.

Trouble is, with the size of these, local economy, distance etc, it's a tough sell.

I've been offered a swap for a pair of 8 month old Canterbury SE's.

Im not looking to compare sound, merely value, as I know they are a completely different speaker in almost all areas.

I do wish I could afford to hang on to the 4350's and just let them appreciate over the next few years (?), but thats just not viable financially or space wise.

Any comments greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Scott

I guess your 4350s have been sold or swapped by now but if they haven't how much were you asking for them. I may be interested.

If I had the Tannoy's, I would gladly trade for the 4350's.
You are really trading an inconvenience for an inferior inconvenience. It may take a number of years but, sooner or later the right deal will present itself, or you will find a new place for your 4350's.

It would be a step backwards to move to a HIFI speaker after the 4350's ...... IMHO .
