So my 4311b's need new dust caps. Can't seem to find anybody who sells them. They are aluminum.

Anybody know where I can get 2?

Thank You

How about a suitable substitute?

A pop can has the right thickness of aluminum. That leaves finding a round object of appropriate diameter to make a die for molding the aluminum. Or head on down to your local machine shop and have them make a stamper die and start mass-producing dust caps. :D

Or, head over the eBay and buy a decent LE5-8/10/12. :dont-know:

I think I recall we've queried the foilcal guy about making these, but never saw any response. Maybe it's the source material that's the issue?

I disagree a pop can is correct. It's way too thick.

Before You consider any replacement, find out how the dust cap is mounted. In the E 140 the aluminium dust cap is glued directly to the voice coil former. In the 2225 the paper dust cap is glued to the cone.
