066 Tweeters

What is the best replacement for JBL 066 tweeters?

says "If not serviceable , replace with CURRENTLY AVAILABLE , can also be replaced with 044."

rumor has it that a 066 is an 033 with vapor deposited Al coating , going to ASSUME (till Phil and the forum jump on me) ...that the 033 would be passable.

'course THE BEST replacement is another 066. They do show up rarely , I have a spare single that has been "undented."
