Help!!
I have a sa660 that i purchased new in 1969. A local repair shop (tucson)
tells me i have blown channel a and channel b looks overheated.
He has quoted about $200. For the repair. Since jbl doesn't service the
sa660 any more, are there questions i need to ask before i have the work done? I.e. Is there a way to minimize the heat that is apparently being generated? Will new electronics be compatable with the remaining old parts?
Will the new parts retain the 'jbl sound' i fell in love with in the 60's?
I would greatly appreciate your help.
