Plug in some really good headphones and enjoy this:

It is very well recorded and the bass is tremendous. If you have actual speakers that can do justice to it your are worthy of envy. I believe there are 4x15 inch drivers in action there :D

Listening to a clip of 4345s playing . . . on my 4545s . . . seems sort of silly! :)

Like a house-of-mirrors.

Why would I want to plug in headphones when I have JBL to listen too! :D
WOW That gave me a JUMP! when the bass rhythm cut after a few seconds I had to turn down the sub bass extension a bit and then start from the beginning.

Nice centre vocal and the click a kick in the centre as backing vocals pan on left and right while still having clicking kick in the centre. Surrounds filled the room smoothes as they always do.

I like these tiny 4428 as I have small room they look funky in their own right. How much do these go for today?

I was curious of recoding because it sounds like a direct sound recoding sync to video footage as its too clean sounding. The recoding I did I’ve used an SPL db metre set to 90dbc and turned down the sub bass extension as the room and SPL will exaggerate the low end sometime into distortion. The recoding is only monaural since I’m using a single SPL db metre.

Still I’m curious as to how the user did it? Maybe he ran test after test after test to figure out a way of recoding what these JBL sound like in the room itself, without gross bass distortion overloading the microphone. Its just that I’ve seen some fake videos of sub bass speakers playing loud and the user claming that its an actual recoding of the sub in the room.

Playing back my own video on the same sound system! I’m shocked at how clear the sub bass extension is coming out! I was fearing some degree of low end overload. I turned the sub bass extension down a bit as I know the SPL db metre will be sensitive to the lows and since the middle of the room as smooth response from 20Hz to 78Hz then dips down in null up to around 100Hz I think? Its not a bad mono recoding, I’ve heard far worse on youtube.

Still I’d like to mine in stereo someday.

Oh, I forgot, lot's of you guys have got real speakers! I only have small Dynaudios at the moment due to domestic constraints. One day though I would like a pair of these:

Those look like they would provide close to K2 performance for about half the price...
