Hi Folks,

has anyone had much experience with this stuff ?.... I have every confidence in its thermal properties.
I am wondering about its Structural integrity ,as. it would be nice not to have to tap the sinks for the chassis build .

I have used Devcon on Stainless with great results .... I glue 2 x 12 mm 304 plate a threw it against the wall in the workshop repeatedly ..... Did not give . "Like ---- to a blanket" as they say!

Do you mean the silver-loaded stuff? I've used it, but only with hardware
to back it up...wasn't used structurally... The application required max
thermal conductivity where disassembly wasn't going to be necessary
for maintenance (e.g., where you might use thermal grease instead).

The stuff I used, I was able to pop apart later. I'd bet other/different thermal
epoxies would fare better in that regard.

good point Grumps ,

if I have a problem I'm gonna do a lot damage getting it off ... Grease it is then !
