Hi all,
As a 'junior member' to this forum, I can't resist presenting my humble system - this is my first attempt at making my own speakers, it's based on LE15A in standard 5.5 cuft boxes, crossed over at 800 Hz to LE85 coupled to a MDF ciscular horn calculated using Le Cleach's formula (http://perso.club-internet.fr/ndaviden/pavillon/lecleach.htm). I am using a Xover recovered from an pair of L200. It still needs a lot of fine tuning as I have some concerns with my LE15A (see other thread in technical matters), but it's very satisfying. For the future, I plan to move first to an active set up, then probably use 2" drivers instead of the LE85 (my horns are in 2 parts) to allow use of these drivers as well.
Cheers,
