May I know if this surround speaker can configure as tripole(dipole+direct) ? How? I follow the manual instructions but able to get either dipole or direct only but not both together

I'm not completely sure that I understand the complex wiring of this speaker. But it looks to me like they don't want to let you use all of the speakers at one time. It is probably to keep the impedance from going too low. Or maybe to avoid adding still another ten feet of wire in the box.

Ok thanks, think I got it . Seems like no way I can activate the direct mode tweeter(TWT3) when the 12V trigger is not activated . When 12V trigger in activated , only direct mode is output :o:

By the way , what do you think of S1A compare to S4Ai . Which is better if comparing the sound quality and sound stage ? I bought the S4Ai because of the frequency response which seems better than the S1A . But may buy the S1A in future and use the S4Ai for surround back . :)
