Inspired by volvotreter, I just built my first tractrix horn (320 Hz) out of baltic birch. It turned out better than I expected. It was my first lathe project too (I'm sure a lot of you fall into that category).

That is one hell of a job for a first lathe project! Not saying a lathe is that tough, but that is a big, complex object for a first timer.. :applaud::applaud::applaud:

I'm looking at doing something similar for a pair of JBL 2440 w/2445J diaphragms I recently received as a gift. Or possibly a conical.. Cosmos I hear you have a number of good designs - anywhere I might get a look at them? I'm searching..:D
