I have an empty pair of L220 cabinets. They might go with my sold L220As but I'm thinking the lower sections might be good for subwoofer cabinets or frankenstein speakers. Not sure it's worth the effort to cut them down but it's nice wood and very stout construction. Any experience here?

And yeah, I did a bunch of searching already. (Where's that Gonzalez guy when you need him?)

Frankenstein all the way, a pair of 2344's and your on your way to a pair of vertical 4435's.

I'm jealous! My dream is to get a pair of these cabs and put in LE14As, PR15s, and then replace the hole left where the mid was with a modern 'waveguide' and a 2426, and the 076 with an 2405. It's only a dream...

Reality tells me that the 2344 route is a good one. Or the slightly smaller 2342, which takes a thread on driver.

OR.... PR15, LE14A, and the mid, tweeter and crossover from a 4412.
