When I was a young child my father got these JBL speakers. They were floor standing, wood cabinet, octagonish shaped. They are not the elongated performance series. He got them early 90's maybe even late 80's however I remember they looked pretty modern. There could have also been weird glass decor on top the the speaker. Unfortunately we lost those speakers in a fire.

Again the shape of the speaker was not your typical rectangle or box, but octagon or pentagon or hexagon.

I can't seem to find them anywhere on the internet and I have no idea what they are called. Does anyone know what speaker I may be thinking of?

Thanks,

Bob.

Maybe something like these?

Its from a thread here: http://audioheritage.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?19706-Help-to-ID-JBL-quot-tower-quot-speakers

I believe there are a couple of different models in the series,
but one of our members has this pair he brought to a listening party:

How much a pair of 122A woofers is worth?

I dunno - what did you want for them?

No joke - thats the right answer.
They are worth whatever someone is willing to pay for them.
